Fable is coming out tomorrow~

The week kicks off with a half dozen new online reviews for Lionhead Studios' Fable: The Lost Chapters, all of which are on the positive side. The first is at Yahoo! Games with an overall score of 4/5:
So what's the moral of the story? Fable makes the leap to PC with few hitches. The additional content goes a long way to address our main original issue with the game, its length, but on the PC it's hanging with a tougher crowd. Graphically it's a generation behind its peers, and the control system betrays its Xbox roots, but if you can put up with that you're pretty much guaranteed a good time.

The second is at GameDAILY with an overall score of 4/5:
RPG fans can rejoice, because one of the best games on the Xbox is now on the PC, and it's better than ever! Currently, The Lost Chapters is the best version of Fable you can get. The better graphics and expanded gameplay might entice those who have already played through the game once, but the people who really win out are those who will be playing for the first time! Though it might have a few minor flaws, this is still a fantastic open-ended RPG in its own right and well worth picking up.

The third is at The Armchair Empire with an overall score of 9/10:
Even though the game is now an average length, it still feels short because the gameplay experience is just that varied and rewarding. The production values are perfectly tuned to the game's style as the graphics and audio are beautifully implemented. Quite simply, I loved the game. For all of you PC gamers out there that have not yet had the opportunity to play Fable, the Lost Chapters is your chance to experience a fabulous action RPG.

The fourth is at GameZone with an overall score of 8.7/10:
When Fable was released on XBox, the videogame industry was expecting a revolution in interactivity and gameplay never before seen. Apparently Peter Molyneux has a doctorate in Marketing with a concentration in Over Embellishment, because Fable wasn’t as impressive as he hoped it would be. Nevertheless, Lionhead Studios saw the need to deliver it to personal computers everywhere. No, none of the things that were originally left out appear in The Lost Chapters. And if you already own the original title, there are no big reasons to add this to your cluttered PC hard drive as well. But for all its worth, Fable: The Lost Chapters holds its own as an innovating role-playing game and deserves its place in any new player’s collection.

The fifth is at eToyChest with an overall score of 91/100:
It appears that The Lost Chapters will eventually make their way to the Xbox, though the added content, though substantial, is probably not enough to warrant a purchase from someone who played through the original version. The added benefits of playing this on the PC, however – particularly the graphics – certainly make this a worthy purchase for anyone, whether they owned the original version or not. The game offers a lot to do for any RPG aficionado, including a compelling story bundled into a non-linear package that affords something many RPG gamers want – freedom to act as they please. Fable, with all it offers, is the perfect game for this type of freedom.

And the sixth is at Gamezilla with an overall score of "Recommended - Buy":
All things being equal, Fable: The Lost Chapters does something I never thought possible: It brings the excitement and life of an excellent game on the console to the PC, and does it well. You can tell the amount of love poured into this game, it really shows. An excellent title for anyone who enjoys adventure games, especially those who like the less linear feel that Fable has to offer.

A Halo Poem.
Hey guys, i hope this ain't spamming or anything but i wrote up a little something i thought you good people might enjoy reading. Anyway if it is spamming close this thread by all means if not then please enjoy.

A Sergeants Final Fight
A Poem of a mans last moments

So is this it? Is this what I have been fighting for?
Damn! This existence, Damn! This war
I was once young, just nineteen
In the corps is where I would begin my childhood dream
Become a soldier of the world and explore the wonders of space
Find new planets, new technology make contact with another race
Something happened, a tragedy to continue for all time
We met an aggressor, who decided they should destroy mankind
They attacked with an army the size and likes we have never seen
Their ships came and blitzed Reach stripped the planet clean
Our army had no choice but to retreat to our home world, our planet Earth
Where something came and gave all mankind birth
A foolish Prophet followed in hope of finding the sacred Ark
Their fleet hangs high above, casts a shadow to make our skies seem dark
Now bodies, legs and arms are strewn
Where plasma burns and death’s shadow looms
The generals talk to get their way
We do their bidding we do as they say
One by one the Covenant send us to the dirt
Should we give up, carry on and try to take the hurt?
Our chances seem so pathetic, I wish I could leave it all behind
But if I abandon Earth’s fight, then guilt would weigh heavy on my mind
A single Spartan has landed somewhere has landed to defend us all
But as hard as he tries our marines continue to fall
I hear something that signifies the covenant they draw near
We ready our weapons; they kill seven of my men, no time for tears
My marines are dead or dying lie
I am left alone asking why?
They turn to me and try to frighten me with an evil leer
But I shall show no weakness and show no fear
Here I make my final stand
Make a fist, hold my weapon steady in my hand
So my future it now looks black
Draw my final breath look up and scream ATTACK!

Any comments on this are welcome if my poem sucks let me know if you like it let me know i usually write fan fiction stories but i tried a poem this time as i haven't done one yet and needed to try something else for variety. If it sucks oh well i tried i'll just stick to my stories if anyone likes it even one then hurrah i might do another. - Author Unknown

Thoughts of a teenage child

1. God made a few people perfect in
the world, the rest became right handed.
Im not perfect.

                 2. It takes a smaller man to laugh and do nothing when a fight or conflict is occuring. It takes a small man to start fights or accept knowing there are other ways out.  It takes a big man to accept when there is no way out. It takes an even bigger man to take the beatings knowing that there are no winners in fighting, only losers.

 3. Power is nothing. To have the power to do good, to save and to change the face of the earth into something beautiful. The have the power to do other wise is never remebered and forgoten forever. So far I can't see or don't remeber and haven't heard of any one but God and The Holy Spirit who has done so.

4. Have you ever thought about growing up too fast? Have you ever reflected and remebered who you were when you were a child? Have you ever reflected who you are now? What did you want to be when you were child? A fireman, police, a vet? Ask yourself; did you reach that destination or did you make a compromise and another and become something lower than what you aimed for? Did you ever wonder you only have so much time to be your parents or anyone else before they leave this world? Have you ever thought about dating? What is dating all about? Have you ever wondered if you have the grades and what it takes to survive through this world?Have you ever got a job? Is this job worth living for? What about dying for? Have you ever done something good that no one has heard of? But you know that just a little bit can help. Have you ever wondered if there were an easy way out? But there isn't because the world is cruel. These are all pressures of a teenage life..

5. Take a jar and try to fill it up with large rocks and sand. Let the sand represent everything that you do not need but want. Now let the rocks represent things that are needed to be done. Place either the sand or rocks in first. If you have put in the sand first and then the rocks, you'll see that the jar cannot hold all of it in. In order to get the things you want to make life lighter on your shoulders, then you must give up the less important things is life, and fill your time with much important things. Once you have done so you can enjoy and do the less rewarding things in life.

6. Do not stay commited to the world, but transform your mind into something greater from the world. When I say comitted I mean the material things that the world has to offer. When I mean transform your mind into something greater, its not make you brain any smarter, but wiser. Find things in the world that is hidden, if you have done something for someone else you probably have felt light hearted. That is some of the the hidden gifts the world has to offer. When we all reach our time, we lose everything matieralistic in this world.
